Chameleon 42 Games is excited to share a look at the 3D environment from our new project, The Good Place.

Some places send chills down your spine the moment you step inside. Places where order and silence hide something far more unsettling…
---
That's exactly the feeling we wanted to capture with the hospice - the main location in our new game. This time, we combined realistic visuals with hand-painted textures, creating a fresh visual style while preserving the atmosphere. We also blended retrofuturism with Victorian aesthetics in an old mansion that now serves as a unique hospice. Rich wood interiors gradually give way to cold hospital tiles, while simple furniture stands alongside devices that seem either outdated or surprisingly advanced. That unsettling contrast was exactly what we were aiming for.

The Good Place is a first-person single-player simulator where you take on the role of a night assistant in a hospice. Your tasks are simple: clean up, monitor the patients, and enjoy the silence and solitude. There's even a staff break room! But there's little time to rest. This place has its own rules - and its own secrets...
